Open House coming up August 19 - 21!

Would you like info about fall classes, and the openings we have available, or need to pick up shoes and tights before classes begin?

Then come join us for our Open House, happening August 19th - 21st, from 10:00 - 2:00 all three days, and from 6:00 - 8:00 on the 20th.

Come visit us and meet our staff, allow your child to become familiar with the studio, and ask any questions that you may have regarding our program.

We have a special surprise scheduled for the 20th, to be announced soon...:)

If you register for classes during our Open House, you will receive a pair of ballet tights free, just tell us you read it on our blog! :)

Summer Intensives for our upper levels!

Summer Fun! Upper level intensives for both levels 5 & 6, taught by Peggy Goodner, Emily Grizzell, & Sarah Glesk, register by June 20th to ensure a spot! ***Remember that B5s are required to study a minimum of 16 summer dance hours, and B6s are required to study a minimum of 20 summer dance hours. Those hours may take place at INB or at another summer classical ballet intensive. Registration for fall will not be processed until summer hours are noted on your registration form. To save you time doing the math, one week long workshop is enough for B5s, though the summer pointe class is recommended. B6s will need more than one week, so may enroll in either both workshops, just one along with the summer pointe class, or the required hours at another classical ballet intensive. July 21 - 25, 9:30 - 1:30 Tentative daily format: 9:30 warm up 10:00 - 12:00 Technique (will include pointe work for those the instructor deems appropriate) 12:00 lunch break (plan to bring a light sack lunch and water bottle) 12:20 - 1:15 varies depending on day - Mon. - Character w/Peggy Tues., Wed., Thurs. - Variations w/ Emily (only for those attending both weeks) Fri. - Modern w/Sarah 1:15 - Stretch and quizzing on French terms, ballet history, world renowned dancers, etc. 1:30 - done August 4 - 8, 9:30 - 1:30 Tentative daily format: 9:30 warm up 10:00 - 12:00 Technique (will include pointe work for those the instructor deems appropriate) 12:00 lunch break (plan to bring a light sack lunch and water bottle) 12:20 - 1:15 varies depending on day - Mon. - Character w/Peggy Tues., Wed., Thurs. - Variations w/Emily (only for those attending both weeks) Fri. - Modern w/Sarah 1:15 - Stretch and quizzing on French terms, ballet history, world renowned dancers, etc. 1:30 - done Tuition If attending only 1 Camp - 140.00 if registered by June 20th, 165.00 thereafter ***Note: If you are only able to attend one week, you will not be participating in the "Variations" portion of the Camp, but are welcome to sit and watch. If attending both Camps (36+ hours of dance) - 250.00 if registered by June 20th, 275.00 thereafter (This is a $30 discount over the cost of 1 week - plus the Variations class for free.) Reminder: The variations class is open only to those attending both weeks of camp, as the choreography will be staged upon a specific number of dancers. If you are only able to attend one week, you may stay and observe, then participate in the stretch and quiz time at the end of class.
