New Creative Dance class for brand new 3-6 year olds, 4 weeks only!

You've asked for it, so we are offering...A new 4 week session for those with little ones who tried to register too late and did not get in to our fall classes, or those just wanting to try ballet now.

We will be holding this short session April 25 - May 16, every Saturday for four weeks, from 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. The tuition for this short session is just $40 (or $35 if you have a sibling already enrolled at INB!). This session is a great way to see if ballet is something your child will enjoy, and where he or she fits in to our levels. If you are enrolled in the session, you also become a "current student", allowed to register for fall on our first day of registration in June, rather than waiting until the following week, when many classes are already full. You must be pre-registered to attend, and enrollment will close once the class is full. Summer dance camps for ages 3-9!

Little ones love to have a dance camp all their own, and our Cinderella Dance Camp and Coppelia Dance Camps both begin in early July! Class size is limited, and fills up quickly! ***Session I - July 8, 9 and 10 For new and returning students 10:00 – 12:00 for 3-5 year olds, cost: 60.00 Coppelia 12:00 – 2:00 for 3-5 year olds, cost 60.00 Cinderella ***Session II - July 15, 16, and 17 For new and returning students 10:00 - 12:00 for 3-5 year olds, cost 60.00 Cinderella 12:00 - 2:30 for 6 - 9 year olds, cost 75.00 Coppelia ***Session III – July 28, 29, 30, and 31 - Longer 4 day session for returning students, this will allow us to build on the skills we have worked on during the past year (with barre work for 6-9 year olds) 10:00 – 12:00 for 3-5 year olds, cost 80.00 Cinderella 12:00 – 2:30 for 6-9 year olds, cost 90.00 Cinderella If you are concerned with getting glitter paint on your child's dance clothes, please send an old T-shirt. New class beginning in October...:)

Do you have a little one who wants to discover the wonderful world of ballet?  We are offering a Creative Dance I Ballet class on Thurs. 3:00 - 3:45 for 3-5 year olds.  Please call the studio if interested, at 467-0765, or e-mail us at inlandnwballet@aol.com.  We also have a possible Fri. 3:00 - 3:45 Creative Dance class in the works if response is sufficient...:)  Inquire if interested!

Pictures passed out during class this week!

Remember that dance photos will be passed out during class this week, we can't wait to see them all!  Another note on performances - All of our performances went amazingly smoothly this year, thanks to all who helped out backstage, you are truly gems!  Backstage parents make it possible for all of the dancers to sit in the wings during the entire show and watch the dancing up close, something they simply love to do!  Thanks a million!  :)

Performances continue this weekend!

Our performances continue this Saturday, with a matinee at 2 pm and an evening 

performance at 7 pm, at Mt. Spokane High School.  

All performances have free admittance, but arrive early, the seats will fill!  INB will present "The Chrysalis" ballet, a story of the metamorphosis.  After intermission, we will present our contemporary/modern/tap/hip hop portion of the show, including "Cello Wars" pictured above...:)

Summer Class Registration taking place now!

Summer class registration for our Cinderella Camp (ages 3-9), our ballet camp, and our hip hop camp is taking place now.  E-mail us for a schedule at inlandnwballet@aol.com or call 467-0765 to have one sent to you.  For those little ones that are adoring Miss Kaiti Bri as our Diamond Soloist, she will be teaching the Cinderella Camp!

Cinderella Dance camp involves lots of dancing, some Cinderella crafts (decorate your own glass slipper!), snacks, watching a bit of the Cinderella Ballet video, and lots more!  Cinderella Camp, ballet up to level 3, and hip hop camp all take place in July.  

Summer camps for levels 4 and above take place late July and early August with guest instructors.

We love our summertime fun!  :)

Fall registration day this weekend!

Pre-registration concluded last Saturday, May 26, and fall registration for current students begins this Saturday, June 2 at noon.  If you are pre-registered (for those staying in the same class) you don't need to stand in line registration day...yippie!  If you really desire a particular class, especially Ballet 1, 2, or 3, you will definitely want to attend on Saturday. If you are attending on Saturday, while the line can be long before we open (some families line up as early as 5:30 am, with a chair, a good book, and some snacks), it goes very quickly once we open.  The Rocket bakery is also open next door for coffee and goodies, you can usually team up with others in line to hold your spot while you make a coffee run..:)
We are holding a drawing on Facebook for a guaranteed "don't have to stand in line registration pass", so click our Facebook link and put your name in!  If you don't have Facebook, you can send us an e-mail by Wed. at 1 pm to inlandnwballet@aol.com, and we will place your name in the drawing for you!  :)
Registration for available openings will begin for new students, or those unable to attend on registration day, on Monday, June 4, and summer registrations are being accepted at the current time!

We love pink and black together, and plan to choose one or more of the above for some of our Creative Dance tap classes. We can't yet ascertain which costume will be for each class, as we are still choosing music and must coordinate the costume with the music, but your feedback would be most helpful in letting us know what appeals to parents and little ones alike...:)

Open house for fall classes!

On August 4, 5, and 6, we welcome you to come join our open house for fall class registration. Open house week is a great time come visit us at the studio, meet our instructors, ask questions, and allow your child to become familiar with the studio before his or her first day of class.
E-mail us ahead of time (inlandnwballet@aol.com), and tell us you will be visiting, that you read about the open house on our blog, web site, or facebook, and you will receive one 15.00 registration fee free of charge! Our hours of open house are 10:00 am - 2:00 pm on Tues., Wed., and Thurs, and on Wed. evening from 5:00 - 7:00

All ballet classes full for fall, ages 6 and up...

An update on our Inland Northwest Ballet class schedule for fall...at this point, all of our ballet classes for ages 6 and up are completely full, most with students on the waiting list. Some jazz/hip hop classes are full as well. Due to our more flexible schedule, we do have openings in most classes for Creative Dance (ages 3-5).
Our registration has been phenomenal this year, thanks to all our Spokane families who made great efforts to enroll in the class you desired! We are looking at restructuring a few classes, combining a few tap or jazz classes with lower enrollment so that we may add another ballet class or two. Before you register, please ask for an updated schedule, to see if the class you desire is still available.
